Flats collection

Depending on the building you live in, you can recycle in either orange sacks or in communal bins. The separate collections of recycling and rubbish have now been rolled out across the borough.

- Rubbish and recycling collections will remain weekly.

- Pre-paid Havering green sacks will be collected weekly with the refuse.

- As recycling and rubbish will be collected by different vehicles, the collection times will differ. Please remember to put your orange sacks where you normally put your rubbish – this may be at the edge of your property, in the communal bin, or down the rubbish chute.

You can pick up more orange sacks if you need them, from local libraries, Romford PASC and Estates Offices on the Mardyke Estate and the Parkhill & Sunrise Estate Petra Office.

* Well done to residents with communal bins, you have boosted Havering's recycling rate to 34% *
