Recycling banks

There are recycling banks throughout the borough which help you recycle when you are out and about, and to recycle more things.

At recycling banks you can recycle: foil, glass, paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, textiles and toner cartridges.

There are over 70 recycling banks in Barking and Dagenham. Find out where they are and what you can recycle at each one by visiting the council website.

Tetra Paks

There are also five sites locally where you can recycle Tetra Pak cartons:

• Faircross Parade, Upney Lane, Barking
• Frizlands RRC, Dagenham
• Tesco, Highbridge Road, Barking
• Valence Avenue/Beacontree Avenue Junction, Dagenham

There are several new battery recycling boxes around the borough, find your nearest one here.

Don't forget there are also lots of materials you can recycle at your nearest Reuse and Recycling Centre.
