Green waste collection
Barking and Dagenham collect your grass cuttings, leaves, weeds, flowers, hedge trimmings and prunings and compost them for you locally.
In the summer months, the council will empty your green waste wheelie bin every two weeks, on the same day that they pick up your household rubbish.
Green waste collections will stop from Friday 11th November 2011.
If you wish to pre booked a collection, this will only be done on the following weeks:
January 9th – 13th 2012
February 20th – 24th 2012

Scheduled collections will start again from Monday 26th March 2012.
