Schools

Help bring recycling to life for young people, through school visits, trips to our education centre, and our resources.

Why we should teach recycling

Recycling at school is good for the environment, enriches the curriculum, helps schools and communities to live more sustainably and can save the school money too.

Visit MuRFy's World  - a free recycling education centre (KS2), arrange for an Education Officer to come to your school, find out about recycling at your school or how to become an Eco-School, and check out our free teaching resources.

Read the latest school News - what schools in your area are doing to reduce, reuse and recycle!

For all school enquiries please contact the Education Officer Julia Roebuck on 07891 815 068 or julia.roebuck@wastewatch.org.uk

  • Bring recycling to life by organising a class visit to MuRFy's World.
  • Make sure pupils, school staff and parents know the school's recycling policy and help enforce it.
