Website competition winners!

To celebrate the launch of our new community website, Recycle for your Community ran a competition to win some exciting prizes.
Visitors to our recycling roadshows and talks were given a postcard directing them to our new website, where they could enter the competition by answering a few simple questions.
The two lucky winners were Colin Newman (pictured above) from Barking and Dagenham and Nilesh Agarwal from Newham, who were both presented with £50 Natural Collection vouchers.
Colin Newman is a Green Champion at work and told us: ‘’I believe it is really important to engage people in sustainability issues. I have a blog, which used to be mainly about cycle campaigning but has now expanded to include the important issues of recycling, public transport and acting locally.”
Nilesh Agarwal and his family were enthusiastic about getting the chance to buy eco-friendly or recycled products with their voucher. Mrs Agarwal (pictured) said “(My husband and I are) both very environmentally conscious people and are very happy that our Natural Collection voucher means we can shop at a place that encourages people to be green.”
Our community website has all kinds of information about how you can reduce, reuse and recycle at home – from composting to cloth nappies. There are also lots of ways you can get involved; why not visit our next recycling roadshow ...you never know when you could be a winner too!
