Swap your Treasures at a Give & Take Day!
04 March
If you’re thinking of having a spring clean then there’s no time like the present, why no clear out some of your unwanted items or pick up something you do want at our Give & Take day.
Did you know that in East London we throw away around half a million tonnes of rubbish a year, that’s almost half a tonne per person! A lot of this ‘rubbish’ is made up of things we’ve thrown away not because they’re broken or unusable but because we no longer need or want them, but that doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t! We all know the saying ‘One person’s rubbish is someone else’s treasure’, well it really is true, why not find out for yourself at our Give &Take Day on
Saturday 13th March, 12noon -3pm at Romford Salvation Army Hall, Romford High Street
A Give & Take day is just like a Bring & Buy Sale, but without any money, its all free. Just bring along anything you don’t need, old books, clothes, CD’s, videos, toys, games, knickknacks etc and pick up something you do need,
completely free.
In addition to piles of your goodies, there will also be refreshments, children’s activities, competitions and information on recycling in Havering. So why not clear out your clutter, find yourself a treat and join us for a great afternoon out.
