Give or Take Day at Loxford Park

Give or Take days are money free events that offer recycling for the community at the same time as providing household items and goods to individuals and families.
The Give or Take events aim is to promote reuse and at the same time encourage community exchange and environmental consideration. The Forest Recycling Project in partnership with Redbridge Council will be holding the next Give or Take event on 8th August from 12-6pm at the Redbridge Diversity Festival, Loxford Park, Loxford Lane, Ilford, IG1 2PL.
Come to Ilford on the 8th August and get involved in lots of great activities. There will be information on effective recycling, craft workshops, live music and vegetable growing tips, food stalls and more! Bring your bike along for a free appointment with DR BIKE.
The first Give or Take was held by The Forest Recycling Project in 1999 inspired by successful green initiatives in other countries. The idea has now become a national phenomenon and as more people get involved its positive momentum continues. At each Give or Take event an estimated 2 tonnes are saved from landfill, providing both environmental and social benefits. Come and experience the event for yourself between 12- 6pm on 8th August and Give or Take!
