Rise Park Infants School are Eco Champions!

Rise Park Infants School won top place for collecting the most materials for recycling in the annual competition, organised by Havering Council.
Cllr Tebbutt joins winning pupils from Rise Park and Ardleigh Green Schools.
Pupils at the school collected 1.3 tonnes of recyclable material, such as paper and cans, which works out to 7.25kg per pupil.
Ardleigh Green Junior and Ardleigh Green Infant schools were joint runners-up.The schools collected 2.3 tonnes, or an average of 3.8kg per pupil.
Third place went to Corbets Tey School, who collected 0.3 tonnes, which amounts to 2.85kg per pupil.
Councillor Barry Tebbutt, Cabinet member for StreetCare, said: "I'd like to congratulate all the schools and pupils for taking part. This competition is really worthwhile because it also teaches children in a fun and practical way about the importance of recycling. Reducing the amount of waste we send to landfill is one of our Living Ambition goals".
The schools were awarded a variety of environmentally friendly prizes, including a wormery, a special food waste digester (green cone) and monkey litter bins.
