How much waste do we produce?
Last year around half a million tonnes of waste was created across Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Newham and Havering. That’s almost half a tonne per person! We are all producing more and more waste, so it is only fair that we take responsibility for what happens to it by trying to reduce, reuse and recycle.
